Kizo chapt. 4

Kizo smirked and pressed the knife deeper into Nero’s throat. “I swear if you don’t let the kid go I’ll rip your fucking vocal cords burn them and force feed them to you. Dante growled making Kizo laugh his mutant like tail swished a little bit as he did. Nero grunted as the knife went deeper it was getting harder to breath. A shot suddenly came out of nowhere and hit Kizo strait in the shoulder causing him to let go of Nero. They all looked at the doorway and saw a boy around probably sixteen standing in the doorway. He looked almost exactly like Nero except for some modified changes. He had the same blue eyes, the same white hairstyle only he was younger than him but the part of him that stood out the most was his left arm. The boy’s arm looked exactly like Nero’s except the scaly part was black and the streak and claws were a blood crimson. He was wearing a black leather trench coat, leather black pants, and black boots. He had a black katana and two guns with him. Nero’s eyes seemed to widen larger than humanly possible when he saw the boy. “Ranus? Is that you?” Nero asked forgetting his position. “Hello big brother it’s been what…oh I’d have to say twelve years now thanks to this past year.” Nero studies Ranus closely looking at the scars that were showing since he didn’t have anything on underneath his coat. “What happened to you?” Ranus chuckled though it made him look completely insane. “What happened to me? WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?” That bastard right there is what happened to me!” Ranus growled suddenly. “He did this to me!” Kizo grinned widely. “That I did Ranus…and I must admit you look wonderful.” Kizo laughed evilly. "Oh lets just kill this guy!" Shouted Dante.

Dante and Vergil rushed forward, swords drawn. But when they reached Kizo, the man vanished. "Ku ku ku. Maybe at a later time boys!". "Damn the bastard got away!" Roared Vergil "It doesn't matter Ver, let's get the kid back to the hotel!"

(Several Hours later)

After arriving back at the devil may cry hotel Dante and Vergil thought it was time to get some answers. Approaching Ranus and insuring that he couldn't get away. "Ok brat what's you're story?"  Ranus sighed. "I was hoping to hold off on telling this but I doubt you're going to let this go?" Asked Ranus, with hope "Nope! Now start talking"

(Flashback)

Ranus' body crashed into the wall, leaving a deep depression, before slumping forward only to be caught in the chin by a massive upper cut from a huge demon. As the boy was lifted into the air by the hit, another, smaller, demon dropped down crushing its foot into Ranus' shoulder dislocating it. When he hit the ground a third demon appeared and kicked him right in the neck sending him across the floor and back into the wall. "Enough! Let the boy up" Although his vision was blurred, Ranus' could clearly hear the new being in the room. "I know you can hear me boy, so when I ask a question you will nod in response. Understood?" Ranus nodded. "Good. Now is you're name Ranus?" Ranus nodded again. "Do you have a brother?" Ranus again nodded. "Is his name Nero?" At this Ranus paused but nodded "Good. I'm glad that you are so willing to help. Now do you know where to find Nero?" When he didn't reply, Ranus' chest exploded into pain as Kizo's tail forced its way into it. "I ask again. Do you know where Nero is!" Again no reply, only to have the tail split in two and pierce Ranus' hands. "YOU WILL TELL ME WHERE YOU'RE WORTHLESS BROTHER IS!" Ranus started to chuckle before looking Kizo right in the eyes "No". Although he remind calm on the outside, inside Kizo was furious. Turning from Ranus and walk towards the door he spoke over his shoulder "Do what you want to him, but keep him alive!" With that, the door closed and the three demons moved in on the nine year old.

(End flashback)

Ranus looked down the tears in his eyes didn’t move the slightest and he looked back up at Dante and Vergil who both had a look of shock on their faces. “And you were with him for…eleven years…?” Dante asked amazed. Ranus slowly stood slowly it almost seemed as if he were in pain he turned around and took his coat off revealing his exposed upper half. Scars nothing but scars. Burn scars, bullet scars, stab scars, anything that would leave a mark was there. “Dose that answer your question mister Dante?” Ranus asked softly. Dante nodded. Vergil then dragged Dante out of the room so that Ranus could have some alone time with his brother.
