Kizo Chapt. 5

Nero stirred and Ranus sighed. He looked at his older brother’s battered body. Ranus studied all the wounds and injuries tears started to brim up in his eyes his brother’s condition reminded him so much of what he’d look like after Kizo would have him beaten to near death.

(Flashback)

Ranus woke to a buzzing sound he looked around and his eyes widened in panic. “HEY! LET ME DOWN!!!” Ranus was strung up by the arms hanging from the ceiling he had only his boxers. Kizo walked into the room a smug grin on his face. “Let me go!” Ranus screamed. “Sorry but I can’t do that.” “Why?” “You’re much too valuable.” Kizo said grinning like mad. Ranus stared at him in horror as he picked up a scalpel. “No please! Please don’t!!!”  “Just don’t move and this will be over soon.”  Kizo said with a grin as he lowered the scalpel to Ranus’ arm. The twelve year old shrieked in pain as his demon arm was cut open. Tears pooled his eyes and streamed down his face.  "You're power will be mine boy!!!"

(End Flashback)

Ranus was snapped out of his thoughts when Nero moaned and his eyes opened. “Hey…” Ranus said shyly still nervous about talking to his brother again after all the years. “Ranus…?” “Yeah it’s me.” Ranus replied.

Dante closed the door after he took the box of pizza from the pizza delivery man he didn’t bother giving the guy a tip either. He walked into the office and put the box on the desk. “You know I don’t see how you can eat that stuff everyday of your miserable life.” Vergil complained. “My life is good…really good…” Then they heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Ranus supporting the terrible looking Nero whom still looked weak and tired as well as unbelievably beat. Dante stood up and walked over to them. “He okay uh…” “Ranus and yes he should be fine.”

Nero eyed his brother carefully. He seemed different now then he had remembered him. He was more serious about things and didn’t like the idea of taking him to a hospital. He seemed more secretive. “Ranus…come here…” Ranus looked at Nero but walked over to him. “What happened to you?” “I don’t want to talk about it right now.” Was all Ranus said before walking out the door.
