Experimentation chapt. 2

Dante was almost out the door when he saw three armors come out of nowhere and fly at him. Agnus also walked in he had some sort of trinket in his hand. Dante set Nero down for a second to take care of the white armors. He defeated them with ease and started back to Nero when a tranquillizer dart came flying at him he jumped out of the way unaware that it would hit the kid instead. “Shit…” Dante cursed. He fired Ebony at Agnus and it hit him in the shoulder and it distracted him long enough to grab the kid and get the hell out of there.


Dante walked into the Devil May Cry carrying Nero and saw Trish just hanging out in a chair. She looked up at him and raised and eyebrow. “Who’s that?” She asked. “I don’t know some kid.” Dante replied and laying Nero down on the couch. Trish looked at his arm and her eyebrow rose higher. “He’s a demon?” Dante nodded. “That has to be one strong drug…he’s still out…” Dante whispered. Dante lifted him back up and walked upstairs and to his room he laid the kid down on his bed and pulled the covers over him.

Nero woke later that night only to realize he was in a bed. He could hear soft snoring and he felt someone next to him. “Wha-” He asked and rolled over to face the person only to realize it was a man, and not just any man. It was the assassin he was supposed to capture Nero was still dizzy from the drug and had to think of his name. ‘Daniel…no…Dannon…no…maybe it was Dante…” He studied the man for a second watching him sleep while trying to put together his situation. When he finely put it all together he quickly tried to get up however when he tried to stand he landed on the ground with a loud thud as his vision was still all blurry and light headed. Dante drew Ebony and Ivory from under his pillow and looked around he saw nothing then he noticed the kid was gone as well he looked at the floor and saw Nero on his hands and knees trying to get up. Dante got out of his bed and tried to help Nero off the floor but Nero moved away from him. “What the hell did you do to me…” Nero asked swaying as he tried to walk away. “Easy kid I just want to help.” Dante said and followed him as he went out into the hallway. “You’ve done enough…I don’t know what you did to me but-” Nero was interrupted as he accidentally fell down the stairs upon not seeing them.
